How could anyone possibly get depressed living in a beautiful place like this? It's gorgeous weather all the time, beautiful gardens, wonderful beaches, restaurants...the list goes on. Anyways... yesterday we discovered exactly how "wonderful" the Miami sun can be. We spent the morning at the fantastic Miami Zoo (see pic of me feeding Giraffes... I want those eyelashes!!!) and then spent the afternoon nursing our burns. It doesn't take long here to burn, that's for sure. Sunscreen is not optional! Not even for just a few minutes. Know what though? My Happy Hippy foundation sure did it's job protecting my face from the rays... it has a natural zinc sun block... but now I'm red all over except for my face. PRETTY.
